Every trip to Prague must have a walk along Charles Bridge at night: the lights of the ships, the ghostly statues and the Royal Palace in the distance provide a breathtaking spectacle. Nor can you miss a boat trip on the river Vltava to admire the city from a different perspective.

Stare Mesto, or Old Town, is the historic center of Prague and it's the most lively and touristic part of town. The Old Town Square is the place where life is concentrated in the city. The City Hall is located here and in its tower stands out the Astronomical Clock, the most famous medieval clock in the world. The most famous monument of Prague is Charles Bridge, which connects Stare Mesto with Mala Strana. It's home to wonderful historic buildings. In the square of Mala Strana, you have to visit the Church of St. Nicholas. From the top, you'll enjoy the stunning views.

Prague's Castle is the largest medieval fortress in the world. Inside, you'll find the Cathedral of Saint Vitus. Inside the castle, there's the Golden Lane which is a short, narrow street named after the goldsmiths who lived here long ago. Kafka lived in this street.

In the Jewish Quarter, Josefov, you can take a tour of the six synagogues.

The summit of Mount Petrin is the perfect place to admire Prague in all its immensity and splendor. The tram is the best way to go.
