With an amazing view over the 19th century Church of Jesus, the tallest wooden building in Latvia, Hanza Hotel is a middle class 3 star accommodation in Riga. Close to the Academy of Science with its recently opened tower, the Daugava River bridges and the historic city centre, known as an UNESCO world heritage site, the Hanza Hotel Riga welcomes both business visitors and tourists. Hanza Hotel offers two restaurants, Mercatore and Hanza Pub, where delicious food and drinks of Riga's former partners in the Hanseatic League are offered. So you will not only think of Riga here, but also of Lübeck, Gdansk and Tallinn. On-site facilities also include a conference room accommodating about 45 people.

Hotels restaurant is located in the basement of the hotel and offers a range of local Latvian and International cuisine.
Hotel size allows us to welcome both individuals and groups, whilst maintaining the ambience of a family-run hotel. WIFI is of course standard throughout the building, some rooms have baths and some showers, and all bathrooms have under-floor heating. Thick wooden shutters, rather than mere curtains, ensure that bright light is excluded from the bedrooms during the summer.

Located next door to the Academy of Science, the hotel is close to the Riga Old Town, central railway station and international bus station. Some major attractions of the city include Riga Motormuseum, Brothers¿ Cemetery, Riga Zoo and Central Market.
