Traditional French cuisine is served in the wood-furnished Stradivarius restaurant, located in the original Fumoir, with its cozy fireplace. Buffet breakfast and Sunday brunch is served in the elegant ballroom, which is a replica of the Opera Comique de Paris. There is also a whiskey bar, Intermezzo, and a cocktail bar, Le Bolero, and a terrace, open from spring to winter which overlooks the forest.
The resplendent 18th Century style Mont Royal is a palatial 3 storey chateau, with balconies and terraces which reach out to the tips of the surrounding woodlands.
The Mont Royal was constructed between 1907 and 1911 by order of the French composer Fernand Halphen. Built on top of the highest point of the Chantilly forest, the hunting mansion provided exceptional views of the countryside upon which, according to myth, his wife could gaze as she awoke from her slumber. It is an ideal place to relax, be it perhaps in the sauna or jacuzzi, or to partake in outdoor pursuits such as golf, horse-riding, walking and cycling. (1004RJ)

There are about 100 rooms, traditionally decorated and recently renovated, half of which are the standard medium-large Classical rooms, which provide expansive views of the forest.
