How to arrive
How do I get to the Golden Tulip Apollo?
By public transport
1) From SCHIPHOL airport: A train leaves every 20 minutes from Schiphol airport to the Centraal Station train station. When you arrive at Schiphol, you will see a large board with train information in the central hall. Trains go to the Centraal Station from 05.40 am to 12.30 pm (go to step 2)
2) From the CENTRAAL STATION train station: Take tram 5 or 24 from the Stationsplein to the Apollolaan, then it is a walk of approximately 5 minutes to the hotel. The trams in Amsterdam usually run from 7 am to 1 am.
3) From Station Amsterdam Zuid WTC: Take bus nr 15, and get off at the stop Apollolaan / Stadionweg junction. Cross the street and you will find the Golden Tulip Apollo Amsterdam hotel on your right.
By car from the A-10 Amsterdam ring road Take the exit for the RAI, nr S-109. At the first traffic lights, turn right (you will drive under the viaduct if you are coming from Schiphol airport). On your left you will now see the RAI trade and congress centre. At the sixth set of traffic lights (or seventh if you are coming from Schiphol), keep to the right-hand lane and drive into the Scheldestraat; turn left at the first set of traffic lights onto the Churchilllaan. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights; after 100 metres you will find the Golden Tulip Apollo Amsterdam on your right hand side.
Shuttle service: A paid Shuttle service is available 24 hours a day. You can take the Connexxion Shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, at a cost of 13.50 Euro for a single ticket.
