Situated in Mira at key point on the route between the nearby cities of Padua and Venice, the hotel overlooks the Brenta Riviera Canal, renowned for the richness of its artistic and architectural treasures, and for the famous Palladian villas in the area.
The Riviera dei Dogi has 43 rooms, each with air conditioning, minibar, colour TV, telephone with direct dialling and en-suite bathroom with shower. The hotel’s bar, private car park and attractive breakfast room add finishing touches to its features, making it an ideal place for a pleasant, quite stay for tourism or business purposes in a homely and comfortable atmosphere.
From recently discovered historical records, it has been established that the hotel dates back to 1537.
Initially planned as a weekend retreat for Contarini aristocratic family, towards the middle of the seventeenth century it was used as an inn, and retained these function until the end of the nineteenth century. It was during these years that the Hotel Began, initially under the name Hotel Clima. It was the first hotel on the Riviera dei Brenta to offer a series innovations which where to make it famous, even amongst the Venetian aristocracy, and it flourished until the end of the Second World War. Following the war, after a long period of neglect, conservative, expert restoration brought the building back to its original splendour, making the Riviera dei Dogi a hotel of unique style.

How to arrive
From the station of Santa Lucia: cross the bridge `degli Sclazi 'in front of the station and continue on the right to Piazzale Roma. Take a bus to Dolo or Padova (stop C4) to Mira Porte front of the restaurant Vecia Brenta. Cross the national highway, turn left in front Via Mocenigo until the end of the street to the right where there is the Hotel Riviera dei Dogi. Station Mestre: take bus to Dolo or Padova Look up in front of the restaurant Porte Vecia Brenta. Cross the national highway, turn left Via Mocenigo and at the end of the street on your right you will find the Hotel Riviera's Dogi.
From the airport station Marco Polo: take bus to Piazzale Roma (VEncecia) and since there caught another bus to Dolo or Padova (stop C4) to Mira Porte front of the restaurant Vecia Brenta. Cross the national highway, turn left Via Mocenigo and at the end of the street to the right is the Hotel Riviera's Dogi. From the airport you can take a taxi, too.
From Milan / Bologna motorway A4: the highway there, take the exit Dolo Mirano, and then the second exit Mira. Then continue straight ahead during 3Km. SS11 up the road and turn left to cross the center of Mira, follows the canal to the right by taking the street Riviera Silvio Trentin and then continues straight. To the right lies the hotel.
From Trieste / Udine / Belluno: at the end of the motorway follow direction Venice and then continue to Marghera / Ravenna / Padova. In the second round to continue Padova / Riviera del Brenta / Padova. National Road 11. Moira in front of the Hotel Villa Margherita take street Via Don `Minzoni'y after 600 meters to the right will find the Hotel Riviera's Dogi.
