Known as the “Caixinha de Amêndoas” and formerly the palace of the Duke and Duchess of Loulé, the Hotel Albatroz, located in Albatroz, was restored and extended in 1983. The hotel has seven fully-equipped function rooms that can cater to all kinds of meetings and special events, in addition to 60 guest rooms with relaxing views of the sea.
The tastefully decorated rooms are all carpeted and come with an en suite bathroom a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a hi-fi stereo system, Internet access, a minibar/ fridge, a double bed, carpeting, air conditioning, central heating and a hire safe as standard.
In the outdoor complex are 2 saltwater swimming pools as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Further leisure options include an indoor pool and various massage treatments.

How to arrive
This pleasant beachside hotel lies close to the resort centre within a short distance of a diverse selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The nearest beach is a few paces away (100 m) and links to the public transport network may easily be reached on foot. Transfer to the airport takes some 50 minutes and it is 15 km to the nearest ski resort.
