Renovated in 2008, this family friendly city hotel is housed in a large historical house with colonial-style architecture which dates back to 1862. It is decorated with a collection of pictures and murals which capture the legends and traditions of the city. This establishment comprises a total of 50 comfortable rooms including 6 suites, 6 junior suites and 4 studios. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom. This hotel is located on the city's main square, close to museums, the historical centre, theatres and the cable car to the Pípila monument. It also lies just opposite the popular Union Garden, an iconic sight in the city of Guanajuato. The Universidad de Guanajuato is just 5 minutes' walk away and it is 15 minutes on foot to the regional museum Alhóndiga de Granaditas. The city of León and its Teatro Juárez are 30 minutes' drive from the hotel.
