Perched on top of Monte da Senhora da Confiança, the Hotel da Montanha is a wonderful hotel near Sertã in central Portugal with a commanding view of Cabril Lake, rugged mountains and the Zezere River. The Hotel da Montanha can be found in the small village of Pedrogão Pequeno and is within easy reach of Coimbra, Aveiro and Lousa. This hotel provides that perfect mountain retreat for guests who want to get back to nature, strolling through virgin forests and walking across ancient bridges, as well as going mountain biking, climbing and hiking. After having filled you lungs with fresh air, you can relax in the hotel's wellness centre and spa. The Hotel da Montanha invites guests to taste some delicious Portuguese meals in its restaurant or have a drink at one of its 3 bars. If you are the sporting type, then there are 2 swimming pools and a multipurpose sports court where you can play tennis, basket ball and football. Also, tennis rackets and balls are available too. A great place to concentrate, the hotel has 2 fully-equipped meeting rooms, suitable for 70 and 100 people respectively. Please Note: SPA and gym will be temporarily closed for renovation works from 11 to 31 January 2010.
