It is a very relaxing and convenient room with tiled floors, white walls and granite framed doors and windows which gives a rustic look combined with the traditional Portuguese blue decorated tiles on some walls.
The Pousada is housed in a 18th century palace with Nicolau Nasoni architectural characteristics. It is very beautiful with a white facade on which carved stone details stand out.
Departure: Oporto Airport, head north, turn right, turn left, turn right towards Travessa do Barreiro, continue to Travessa do Barreiro, converge with VRI to Matosinhos/Porto/A4, continue to A4 (highway with toll), continue on IP4 (directions to Bragança/IP4/Vila Real), take the exit 18 to N15 towards Régua/Padronelo/Baião/Mesão Frio. Turn left to EN15/N15, turn right towards N101, continue foward to N101, turn left at EN101/N101, turn left, turn right.
The furniture is outstanding and the individually designed rooms have been described as 'a museum of beds' with each bedroom containing one of the finest beds of a certain time period and all the furniture in the room to match. The rooms feature a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar and air conditioning units.
