This 6-storey, 89-room city hotel was fully renovated in 2007. Guests are welcomed into the hotel lobby, which has a 24-hour reception and lift access. Business guests can make use of the hotel's business centre as well as Internet access in the lobby (charges apply). In addition to having a concierge, there is also a laundry and dry cleaning service (fees apply), and room service is also available. The lobby also features a café and bar as well as a beauty salon. With guests' safety in mind, the lobby is equipped with a 24-hour security service with CCTV surveillance. There is also a cafeteria and a hair and beauty salon.
All of the hotel's rooms are decorated in a Victorian style, and are between 10 and 15 m² in size. The hotel rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned and each has an en suite bathroom with a shower and toiletries as standard. Amenities include tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, mini-fridge, free broadband WLAN Internet access, direct dial telephone (calls made to other hotel guests are free of charge) and a satellite/cable TV. The superior rooms feature two single beds or one double bed. The deluxe, executive and suite rooms all have one king-sized bed, and include additional amenities such as a DVD player and safe. The hotel is located in the central area of Singapore, not far from Orchard Road's shopping paradise. Notable landmarks, such as the historic Bugis Street and Chijmes, the modern Bugis Junction and shopping mall, the new National Library building as well as the Bras Basah Complex, a typical Singaporean open-air shopping complex, are within 5-10 minutes' walk from the hotel. It is 15 minutes' walk from the Singapore International Convention Centre, from Suntec City Mall, City Hall MRT Station (underground station), Raffles City Shopping Centre, Marina Square, the Singapore Art Museum and Singapore's Civic Art Centre.
