The Chateau de Montvillargene is an early 20th century chateau situated in the heart of the Chantilly forest about 6 km from the town of Chantilly. The chateau formerly belonged to the famous Rothschild family. It is an ideal location for clients wanting to relax from busy city life in quiet surroundings, offering outdoor activities like golf, horse riding, walking, cycling etc. (0610PG)
The restaurant is on the ground floor and serves delicious and very fine gastronomic cuisine.The decor combines modern and traditional. Outdoor dining is possible during the warmer months on an immense terrace overlooking the gardens and the vast countryside surrounding the castle.
It is an impressive 3 storey historical building which features sloping roofs and Victorian style beams on the third floor. Part of the facade is overgrown with vines which turns into beautiful flaming reds and orange in the autumn.
These rooms are proper twin situated in the main building of the castle, which are medium to large with a surface area of 20 to 25m2. Every room is individually furnished in a traditional style, in the heart of the chateau and a superb view over the parkland.
