Reservations made through this website can be canceled 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date without incurring any penalty fees. Cancellations or changes of reservations not communicated within the last 7 days of the scheduled arrival or in case of the guest does not check-in at the arrival day (considered: CLIENT NO-SHOW) the hotel could charge the total amount of the reservation (100%) and will be considered not refundable as penalty.

Our small Florence hotel offers 8 comfortable and unique rooms in the historical Alessandri palace built in the 15th century just a few steps from the central San Lorenzo Market from which the hotel takes its name.
The San Lorenzo Hotel has been welcoming visitors to Florence for over 50 years, although ownership of the hotel has just recently changed.
We decided from the very beginning that our goal is to make our guests feel as if they are at home. We offer personalized care in an environment decorated with elegant antique furniture but that is constantly changing to adapt to the needs of our clients. We offer the best of Florence, so come in and discover your home away from home.

All of the major historical sites in the city are steps away: we are closest to the San Lorenzo Church and the Medici chapels, but the Duomo and Baptistery are just a few hundred meters further away and within 15 minutes walking distance you will reach the Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, the Pitti Palace, the Santa Maria Novella Church, the Accademia Gallery (where Michelangelo’s “David” resides), the Fortezza da Basso (location of the most important exhibits and trade fairs in Florence), as well as the Santa Croce Church, the Medici – Ricardi Palace, Dante’s House, the Bargello Museum and the Strozzi Palace.
Steps from the hotel, you’ll find the main Tourism Office of Florence as well as convenient stops for all of the main bus lines that cross through the city and which can also take you to nearby Piazzale Michelangelo and Fiesole from which you can view all of Florence.
