To Portmarnock from Dublin city centre: drive over O'Connell Bridge from Westmoreland Street and take an immediate right. Drive along the Quays for approximately 250 m. At the first set of traffic lights take a left, but move into the right lane. Drive under the bridge and at the Y junction immediately in front and take a left onto Amiens Street. Drive straight ahead. Continue along North Strand Road, and straight ahead onto Clontarf Road. Drive straight along Clontarf road for approximately 8 km. Take a left turn for the hotel which is clearly signposted. Continue through Baldoyle, past the church on the right-hand side and straight on towards Portmarnock. Follow the signs to the hotel. As guests drive through the village they will see a row of houses on the left on an incline and at the top of the incline the hotel gates will come into view on the right.

The recently revamped Osborne Brasserie overlooking the landscaped central courtyard garden was named after the artist Walter Osborne, who painted the very view from the hotel. Guests can dine on delicious locally sourced cuisine. The Jameson Bar, in the old house, with its original oak panelling and high ceilings, is the ideal venue for a leisurely drink. The Cocktail Bar overlooks the sea with its magnificent view of Ireland's Eye - one of the country's best known landmarks. Guests may select their breakfast from a continental buffet and the midday and evening meals are may be ordered à la carte or from a set menu. Special dietary requirements may be catered for and guests may take advantage of special offers.

The rooms offer an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, broadband Internet access, a direct dial telephone, nightly turndown service, a trouser press, cable TV, a safe in the Executive rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, a selection of in-room magazines, a radio alarm clock, and a minibar (on request). The hotel's own Golf Links, designed Bernhard Langer, is a championship course which makes full use of the surrounding dunes and natural terrain to provide a layout that will please the most ardent of golf fans. How to arrive

This luxury hotel is situated in some of Dublin's most beautiful surroundings, fronting onto the sandy beach and overlooking the Irish Sea. The hotel is only about 40-minute drive from the city centre. The centre of Portmarnock, with its nightclub, station and beach, is 5 minutes away by car and it is a 10-minute drive to Malahide, where guests will find shops, bars and restaurants. Dublin airport is around 8 km from the hotel.
