Originally built in 1941, the Art Deco building, the last of its kind to be redeveloped in the area, has been completely redesigned and refurbished with the lobby restored to its former glory. The hotel is comprised of just 50 bedrooms. With the Cuban inspired Club Bar on the second floor which provides an infinity-style view of the ocean and gardens, the beachside hotel will offer a taste of comfortable European glamour, combining the service and ambience of the Havana-influenced Forties with the most up-to-date facilities. Facilities available to guests at the air-conditioned hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom, lift access and a hairdressing salon. There is also an auditorium, TV lounge, cafe, bar, disco and restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the conference facilities, room and laundry services, and a bicycle hire service.
A continental breakfast is served each morning and à la carte options are available for lunch and dinner. Guests may also select their lunch from a set menu.
Each room features an en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a king-size bed, satellite TV, Internet access and a private balcony or terrace. Other in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, radio, hifi, safe, minibar, ironing set, air conditioning and central heating.
An expansive Cowshed Relax Spa and Cowshed Active are available to guests, with a ground floor swimming pool and a rooftop pool with poolside snack bar and sun terrace with sun loungers. The Club floor sits 8 floors up. Guests may also join an aerobics session, work out in the gym, relax in the sauna or steam room, or unwind with a massage or spa treatment. Watersports available to guests include waterskiing, jet skiing, diving, windsurfing and sailing. The hotel organises entertainment programmes for adults and children. Sun loungers and parasols are provided on the nearby sandy beach.

How to arrive
The family-friendly beach hotel is located on the site of the old Sovereign Hotel on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach on 43rd Street. The hotel can be found in the Mid-Beach area, a short distance north from South Beach and a convenient haven away from the intensity of the city. Guests will find restaurants, bars, nightlife and a bus station in the immediate vicinity, while the shops on Lincoln Road are a 20-minute walk from the club resort. Aventura Mall and the centre of Miami are around a 20-minute drive from the design hotel, and the Design District is 10 minutes' drive away.
