The restaurant features a sophisticated interior with capacity for 100 people, and offers a journey through the regional flavours. The bar is cosy, perfect for a drink, and in winter, the fireplace creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. On Saturdays guests can also relax to piano music and let themselves be taken on a voyage through Portugal's history. A typical regional set menu might include clam chowder, dogfish in a marinade with garlic and coriander, roast leg of pork with white beans and regional sweets.
This historic Pousada has been converted from the convent of Cangas de Cristo into a modern accommodation recovering all the convent cells, the retreats and the oratories built by the nuns.
