The hotel is built on the site where the first convent in the Americas was founded by Franciscan monks in the sixteenth century, and has been declared a cultural heritage site of Veracruz. For this reason, the hotel showcases attractive and authentic colonial architecture. All rooms are arrayed around a large courtyard housing the pool and a water well. The hotel offers a total of 41 rooms and facilities include a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, currency exchange facilities and cloakroom. There is a café and restaurant, as well as conference facilities, WLAN internet access, room service and laundry service. Guests arriving by car may make use of the car park and garage.

How to arrive
The hotel has a privileged location in the historic centre of Veracruz, just 3 minutes' walk from the more traditional tourist attractions of the port such as the Malecon, the portals of Lerdo, the Crafts Market, the Fortress of San Juan de Ulua, the Municipal Palace and Old Railway Station. Restaurants and bars can be found around 200 m from the hotel. The beach at Villa del Mar is around 1 km away. The hotel is also 15 minutes from the hotel zone of Boca del Rio and the World Trade Center, and 20 minutes from both the Zone Industrial Bruno Pagliai and Veracruz Airport.
