We stayed here for 3 nights after Havana and loved being right in the heart of the country around Vinales. The pool and the pool area was great and in the evenings once non-staying visitors had left, it was wonderfully peacefully and being able to relax with a cocktail beside the pool was a great way to start the evening.
The food was great on the one night when there was a buffet (pity that wasn't an option for the other 2 nights). The staff were all very helpful.
Positive: Stunning views from everywhere in the hotel and from the rooms we had. Great cocktails and very helpful staff.
Negative: The noise from the building works was somewhat off putting and competed with the music by the swimming pool for both days we were there. Because it's also a look out point there were sometimes 2 sets of (different) music playing which was quite hard on the ear. Pool got very busy and unable to get a sun lounger as non-residents were able to use it.
