Built in 1912 and renovated in 2005, the hotel comprises a total of 128 rooms of which 8 are suites spread over 5 floors. Facilities include a 24-hour reception area, a safe, a currency exchange desk and a lift. This hotel is located on the famous Kärtner Straße. St. Stephen's Cathedral, the state opera house, the Spanish Riding School as well as many important museums and the historic buildings of Vienna are all just a few minutes walk away. Links to the public transport network are situated in the immediate vicinity, for example, Karlsplatz underground station (Line U4) and the tramlines on the ring road (1.5 km away). Südbahnhof is approximately 3 km away, whilst Westbahnhof is roughly 5 km from the hotel. The airport can be reached in 30 minutes by car (18 km).
