By plane
From the airports: - Car rental service with driver available. Upon reservation you have the possibility of asking our hotel to pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. The cost for this service varies from Euro 45 to 65. Minivans and vans are also available.
From the airport of Roma Fiumicino take the Leonardo Express train or shuttle bus for stazione Termini. From there follow the directions stated under the item By train.
From the airport of Roma Ciampino take the shuttle bus for stazione Termini and follow the directions as stated under the item By train.
By train
Once at Rome's stazione Termini, you may take a taxi or a five minute walk. If you choose to walk, cross piazza dei Cinquecento that is right in front of the station and reach the entrace to Terme di Diocleziano. To your right begins via Gaeta, where you will find Hotel Diocleziano at n. 71.
By car
Arriving from North: from the highway take the G.R.A (Grande Raccordo Anulare) ring road and follow the directions for Via Nomentana. Exit on Via Nomentana, direction city center. Stay on Via Nomentana and approximately after 15 km you will reach Piazza di Porta Pia. Pass under Porta Pia and continue on Via XX Settembre. Turn left on Via Pastrengo (at the end of the large building of the Ministry of the Treasury). Circle the building and, once on Via Cernaia, turn right at the first traffic light and follow Via Volturno until the trafficlight. At this point, turn right and after 30 meters, on Your right, there is Via Gaeta. After 100 meters, You will find Hotel Diocleziano on your left.
Arriving from South: from the highway take the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) ring road following the directions for Via Appia. Exit on Via Appia, direction city center. Drive on Via Appia Nuova for approximately 15 km until Piazzale Appio. Pass under the ancient Porta and turn left on Piazza di Porta San Giovanni and then right on Via Merulana. Continue until Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore and drive along the right side of the Basilica up to the traffic light at the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn right and, at the end, when you arrive at Piazza dei Cinquecento, turn left. Drive straight ahead and pass Piazza della Repubblica. Turn right on Via Cernaia and, at the first traffic light, turn right again on Via Volturno. Drive until the first traffic light. At this point, turn right and, after 30 meters, you will find Via Gaeta on your right and, after 100 meters, you will find Hotel Diocleziano on your left.
