Inaugurated in 2005 and run superbly by family Azzena headed by Salvatore Azzena, the Valkarana Restaurant takes its name from the Valley of Carana. Just a few kilometres away from the hotel, visitors will find other amazing places, such as Cannigione, Laconia, Baja Sardinia, Porto Rotondo, Palau and La Maddalena, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Porto Pollo and the Isola dei Gabbiani (Isle of seagulls) - a paradise for surfers. Take a boat trip to the beautiful archipelago of La Maddalena, Budelli, Spargi Razzoli, Santa Maria, Mortorio and Tavolara.
This country hotel includes several buildings including an old 'stazzo', which is a typical rural one-storey building dating back to the early 1900's, which as been carefully restored and used today to exhibit local produce and products. There are 19 rooms in total at this aparthotel. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with a cloakroom and TV lounge. Facilities include air conditioning and a car park. Follow the road signs for Tempio-Calangianus-Sant'Antonio di Gallura. When guests reach Sant'Antonio di Gallura, carry on along the main road for about 500 m, turn slightly left and drive along road SP137; after about 1 km turn left and follow the sign leading to the hotel.
