Parador De Bielsa Hotel Description

This welcoming mountain enclave is located in the eastern sloping Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. It was declared to be a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997 and is also a renowned area for enjoying sports and outdoor activities.

The fresh Pyrenean air, the clean waters of the river Cinca or the tradition of the Nuestra Señora de Pineta roman hermitage, will leave you feeling healthy, relaxed and calm.

The floors, walls, and exposed wooden beams and columns are filled with modern and accommodating furniture. Some of the bedrooms have spectacular views over this beautiful natural enclave.

The High Aragon cuisine contains strong flavours and seasoning producing simple but tasty dishes: migas aragonesas (fried breadcrumbs with sausage and grapes), Cinca river trout cooked in sherry, young roast lamb, wild boar stew and teresicas de Aragon (puff pastry dessert).

The tastefully furnished comfortable rooms include an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, central heating, minibar and hire safe.

How to arrive

The Parador is at the bottom of the Pineta Valley, 200 m. from the entrance to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. It is the far end of Bielsa, 14 km. from the city centre.

The town is 135 km. from Huesca, all the roads from Madrid, Aragon and Cataluña lead to Barbastro. From there you turn onto the N-123, towards El Grado (18 km.) and then onto the A-138, passing through the city of Santuario de Torre. 50 km. onwards you arrive at Aínsa, where you must take the 'carretera internacional' towards France passing through Bielsa (34 km.)

THE RECOMMENDED ROUTE FROM MADRID is:
Madrid – Zaragoza – Huesca.
From Huesca take the N-240 towards Barbastro and then towards El Grado to Ainsa and Bielsa (Valle de Pineta).
